An accomplished Ohio attorney, Terrence Scott has extensive experience in public defense, juvenile justice, and court administration. Throughout his legal career, he has demonstrated a commitment to advancing fairness, protecting the rights of vulnerable individuals, and improving the administration of justice. Terence Scott’s work has spanned appellate advocacy, judicial decision-making, legal education, and private practice.
Mr. Scott began his career with the Office of the Ohio Public Defender, where he represented indigent clients in appellate and post-conviction proceedings while authoring hundreds of complex legal briefs. He later joined the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, serving in multiple leadership roles, including Juvenile Court Oversight Reporting Administrator and juvenile magistrate. In these positions, he presided over abuse and neglect, custody, and delinquency cases, developed judicial training programs, and led initiatives that strengthened court reporting, technology integration, and juvenile justice reform.
In 2026, Terrence Scott founded Pierrot Law & Consulting, where he represents clients in bankruptcy, criminal defense, domestic relations, and contract matters. Beyond his legal practice, he served as a faculty trainer for the Ohio Supreme Court and mentored aspiring legal professionals through community programs.
